Explanation:

Angular momentum, L = m v r

Where m = mass of particle; v = Velocity of particle; r = distance.

Areal Velocity, A = v r/2

Where v = velocity of particle; r = distance.

the value of v from Areal velocity

v = 2 A/r

the above value of v in the expression of L, we get

L = m × 2 A/r × r = 2 m A.

Hence proved.
