*we could set up a large can filled with water up to the top and place it on a table
*we should keep another large can below the water filled can as we will have to let down water and the can down will help to reduce wastage of water.
*now,we must create three holes on the can with water .one on the top (h1)one in the middle (h2)and one extremely at the very bottom(h3).
*if we let water run out through these holes we can observe that the hole which we did at the most bottom will have a very large force and runs down with a large force actively but it is the reverse for the above two.but the middle hole (h2)will show some force but not more than the h3

look at the image for clear understanding
you can see the bottom hole releases water with a high force

Aim: To prove that liquid exerts pressure. Materials required: football, pin, water Procedure: 1. Take a football and using a sharp pin, make a small hole in it. 2. Fill water through that hole, till it is completely filled. 3. Now make some more holes on the other sides of the ball. 4. Squeeze the ball. What do you observe? Observations: You will observe that water comes out of all the holes with the same speed. This proves that a liquid exerts pressure in all directions.

hope it helps .
