n²–n should be divisible by 2 for every positive integer n
so we should replace n by any positive integer.
→If n=1,
n²-n=(1)²-1
=1-1=0
0 is divisible by 2.
→If n=2,
(2)²-2=4-2=2
2 is divisible by 2.
→If n=3,
(3)²-3=9-3=6
6 is divisible by 2.
→If n=4,
(4)²-4=16-4=12
12 is divisible by 2.
So, we conclude that n²-n is divisible by 2 for every positive integer n.
