we know that pressure (p)=force (F)/area(A)

now force=mass(m) x acceleration due to gravity(g)

thus we get p = mg/A...... (1)

but we know that density(d)=mass(m)/volume(v) or, mass(m)= density(d) x volume(v)

now putting value of m in (1)

we get, p=d x v x g / A OR, P=d x g x A x h / A

[because we know volume (v)= area(A) xheight(h) ]

the A get crossed out from numerator and denominator

thus we get P=hdg

HENCE, PROVED..

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU:-))

Explanation:

Q1

PROVE P=HDG

WE HAVE P=F/A

NOW (F)=M×G

[D]=M/V

NOW,WE GOT D×G×V/A

M=D×V

A IS CANCELED

THEREFORE P=HDG PROVED
