Answer:

1.sin^2theta/cos theta+cos theta=sec theta

LHS=(sin^2 theta+cos^2 theta)/cos theta

1/cos theta

=sec theta

2.cos^2 theta(1+tan²theta)=1

LHS=cos^2 theta(1+tan²theta)

cos²theta(sec²theta)

cos²theta×1/cos²theta

=1
