I have solved this in my book ...
let us assume that root 11 +root 3 is irrational
root11+root3=a/b ( a and B are Co primes)
squaring on both sides
14 b square =a square (I have transposed b square )
so 14 square divides a square as well as a .
(then take it as for some integer c)
using transpose method solve it uh will get ur answer. ... .
