√6 + √2 = p/q
squaring both side
(√6 + √2)2 = (p/q)2
6 + 2 + 2 √6 √2 = (p/q)2 
8 + 2 √6 √2 = (p/q)2 
it is solve by the (a + b)2 
the number is not rational because of rational roots theorem.
so number is irrational.
