let take √3 as rational...
√3=p/q
q√3 =p
square both side...
3q²=p²
it means that p have 3 as its factor so it can be divide by 3 at any quotient C ..
(3c)² =3p²
9c²=3p²
therefore it have other factor than 1 By contradiction
hence proved
