Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :

Given :

Sin²θ/cosθ+cosθ=secθ

L.H.S

(Sin²θ/cosθ)+cosθ

=( sin²θ + cos²θ)/cosθ

= 1 /cosθ

[By using trignometry identity ,sin²θ + cos²θ = 1]

= secθ [1 /cosθ = sec θ]

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, proved...
