Answer:

sin €= p/h

cos €=b/h

therefore,

sin^2x=p^2/h^2

cos^2x=b^2/h^2

sin^2 x+cos^2 x=p^2/h^2+b^2/h^2

1 =(p^2+b^2)/h^2

1 =h^2/h^2[using pythagoras theorem]

1 =1
