CSA of original cylinder =πr^2h
= 22/7×r^2h
CSA of new cylinder=πr^2h
=22/7×2r^2×h
22/7×4r^2×h
ratio =22/7×r^2×h:22/7×4r^×h
=r^2×h:4r^2×h. (22/7 cancel on b.s)
=1:4

Answer:

CSA of original cylinder =πr^2h

= 22/7×r^2h

CSA of new cylinder=πr^2h

=22/7×2r^2×h

22/7×4r^2×h

ratio =22/7×r^2×h:22/7×4r^×h

=r^2×h:4r^2×h. (22/7 cancel on b.s)

=1:4
