SOLUTION

CORRECT QUESTION

TO PROVE

 \displaystyle \sf{ \sin A \tan A +  \cos A =  \sec A}

EVALUATION

Here we have to prove that

 \displaystyle \sf{ \sin A \tan A +  \cos A =  \sec A}

Now

LHS

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \sin A \tan A +  \cos A }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \sin A.  \frac{\sin A}{\cos A}  +  \cos A }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =   \frac{{\sin }^{2}  A}{\cos A}  +  \cos A }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =   \frac{{\sin }^{2}  A +{\cos }^{2}  A }{\cos A} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =   \frac{1 }{\cos A} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \sec A}

= RHS

Hence proved
