Here is answer to your question.  

We know that Sin2x=2SinxCosx

and Cos2x=2Cos^2x-1

i.e. 1+Cos2x=2Cos^x

Now use x as x/2

We get Sinx/(1+Coosx)

=(2Sinx/2*Cosx/2)/(2Cos^x/2)

=Sinx/2/Cosx/2

=tanx/2

=R.H.S
