Given :-

Let ABCD is rectangle with diagonals AC & BD

To Prove :-

We have to prove that AC = BD

Proof :-

Let ABCD be a rectangle

In ∆ABC and ∆ADC

\implies AC = AC (Common)

\implies AD = BC ( Opposite sides of parallelogram, a rectangle is a parallelogram)

\implies ABC = ADC = 90° (All angles of rectangle are 90°)

So, By SAS congruency rule of triangles

∆ABC and ∆ADC are congruent to each other

Hence, AC = AB (Corresponding part of congruent triangle)

Hence proved
