Prove that the difference of the given numbers and the numbers obtained by reversing their
digits is divisible by 9.

let two digit number be 10x + y.

reversed number be 10y + x

difference between two numbers

10x + y - (10y + x)

= 10x + y - 10y - x

= 10x - x -10y + y

= 9x - 9y

= 9(x - y)

therefore it is a multiple of 9
