It has two parallelograms on same base and same parallel lines
area of parallelogram ABCD = 1/2*CD*Height
= 1/2*CD*EF
area of parallelogram EDCG = 1/2*CD*Height
= 1/2*CD*GH
EF = GH As lines are parallel so distance between them is always constant.
so
area of parallelogram ABCD/area of parallelogram EDCG = 1/2*CD*EF / 1/2*CD*EF
So now by calculating
area of parallelogram ABCD = area of parallelogram EDCG
Hence,proved
