Prove that the ratio of the areas of similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the squares on the corresponding sides . Using the above result find the ratio of the areas of triangle ADC and triangle ABC when ABC is right angled triangle at A with AD perpendicular BC=12cm and AC=5cm
