Prove that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

See draw an triangle ABC with A being at the top.Draw a straight line pq touching A such that it is parallel to Line BC. Now angle B =Angle qab (alternate interior angle)

and angle c=pac(alternate interior angle)

now the sum of angle a, angle qab and angle pac=180°(angles on a straight line)

a+qab+pac=180°

sunce qab=b

and pac =c

hence

a+b+c=180°

Given:- Triangle ABC.

To prove:- angle A, angle B and angle C sum is 180°.

Proof:-

angle A+angle B= 180°- angle C(exterior angle property).

angle A+angle B+angle C=180°.

Hence, proved.
