Prove that under root 11 is an irrational number

let us assume that √11 is a rational number.we know that every rational number can be expressed in the form a÷b where b not equal to zero.a and b are co primes









Hence a and b are divisible by 11.This contradict our assumption that a and b have no common factor.Hence our assumption is wrong.√11 is a rational number
