v = u + at

⇒ v² = (u+at)²

⇒ v² = u²+2u*at+a²t²

⇒v²=u²+2a* (ut+1/2at²)

⇒v² = u²+2as [∵s = ut+1/2at²]

∴ v² = u²+2as (is proved)

Explanation:

v^2=(u+at)^2

v^2=u^2+2u* at +a^2t^2

v^2=u^2+2a*(ut + 1/2 at^2)

v^2=u^2+2as [s=ut+1/2at^2]

v^2=u^2+2as
