Prove that V2 is irrational. Hence, show that 5V2 - 3 is irrational​

first prove that root 2 is irrational by equating it to a/b and squaring on both sides .. and then use theorem 1.3 ...in the same way equate 5root2-3 to a/b and then by transposing you will get toot 2 =a-3b/5b

now as root is an irrational no. was proven before so 5root2-3 is an irrational no.
