Given: a = 2i+2j-2k and b=7i-5j+2k

to prove: a and b are mutually perpendicular

prove: let us assume a and b are perpendicular

then, a.b=0. (because, a.b=|a||b|costhetha

and costhetha is 0 at 90°)

(2i+2j-2k).(7i-5j+2k)

14-10-4=0

hence our assumption is correct

therefore, a and b are mutually perpendicular
