if x-1 is a factor of p(x) then,
putting x=1 we get p(1)=0
1^99-1= 0
and 1^100- 1= 0
hence, x-1 is the factor of both the expressions
putting x=1 we get p(1)=0
1^99-1= 0
and 1^100- 1= 0
hence, x-1 is the factor of both the expressions
