Hi ,

Here I am using A instead of theta.

SecA + tanA

= 1/cosA + sinA/cosA

= ( 1 + sinA ) / cosA

= [ ( 1+sinA ) ( 1 - sinA)]/[cosA(1 -sinA )]

= ( 1 - sin² A )/ [cosA( 1 - sinA ) ]

= cos² A / [ cos A (1 - sinA ) ]

= cosA / ( 1 - sinA )

= RHS

I hope this helps you.
