SOLUTION :-

sin(x+y)/sin(x-y) =(a+b)/(a-b)

applying componendo and dividendo

 \frac{sin(x + y) + sin(x - y)}{sin(x + y) - sin(x - y)} =  \frac{a + b + a - b}{a + b - a + b}

 \frac{2 \: sinx \: cosy}{2 \: cosx \: siny} =  \frac{a}{b}

 \frac{tanx}{tany} =  \frac{a}{b}
