first apply reciprocal formula and then take LCM secant is equal to 1/Cos A sin square A equal to 1 - cos square A .split it as (1+cosA)(1-cosA)/ ( 1-cosA) prove lhs and rhs seperately .

Answer:

WE have to prove LHS and RHS separetly.

Step-by-step explanation

1+secA/secA=sin^2A/1-cosA

LHS,

1+1/cos A/1/cosA

cosA+1/cos A/1/cosA

cosA+1

now RHS,

sin^2A/1-cosA

1-cos^2A/1-cosA

(1-cosA)(1+cosA)/1-cos A

1+cos A

LHS=RHS

          Hence Proved
