two objects a and b move with a velocity of. u1 and u2. a collides with b and after collision a moves with velocity v1 and b moves with velocity v2
1 st object = F=m(v-u)\t
2nd object= F=m(v-u)\t
we know that from third law of motion
F=-F
m1(v1-u1)\t=-(m2(v2-u2)\t)
m1v1-m1u1=-m2v2+m2u2
m1v1+m2v2=m1u1+m2u2
this is the law of conservation of momentum
