Make sure that the holes are at the same height from the bottom.
Now fill the bottle with water.

You will observe that liquid coming out of the holes fall at the same distance.

Aim: To prove that liquid exerts pressure.

Materials required:

football, pin, water Procedure: 1. Take a football and using a sharp pin, make a small hole in it. 2. Fill water through that hole, till it is completely filled. 3. Now make some more holes on the other sides of the ball. 4. Squeeze the ball. What do you observe?

Observations:

You will observe that water comes out of all the holes with the same speed. This proves that a liquid exerts pressure in all directions.
