Acc to the question we have to prove with the help of an example if a is a factor of b, then a is a factor of any multiple of b, such as 2b 3b 4b etc.

So, let's assume b = 24 and a = 3

then a = 3 will be a factor of 48, 72, 96 etc. You can see that the multiples of 24:- 48, 72, 96 etc all are completely divisible by a = 3. Thus proved that any factor of a number is always a factor of all multiples of that number.
