Try an Activity

Take a plane mirror of a suitable size. Place it in a bowl as shown in the attached image. Fill the bowl with water. Put this arrangement near a window in such a way that direct sunlight falls on the mirror. Adjust the position of the bowl so that the reflected light from the mirror falls on the wall.

You will observe that the mirror and the water combination acts like a prism. It breaks up the lights into its seven colours,i.e. shows the phenomenon of dispersion of light.
