Public recitation of speech is as an exercise in schools and colleges

Public recitation of speech is a wonderful activity to enhance and improve the speaking skills of students at schools and colleges. The revised educational system lays considerable emphasis on the conduct of speaking activities in the school and college curriculum. Hence due weightage has been assigned to speaking skills activities such as dialogue rendition, impromptu speeches, debates, discussions, quizzes, recitations, etc. have been declared as integral part of teaching and learning.

In order to achieve the language fluency levels, declamations, debates, and elocution contests are held within and without the schools and colleges. These intra-school/college or inter-school/college elocution contests provide the students wholesome, agreeable and conducive environment to improve their oratorical skills. Such competitions give platform to students to improve their confidence, pronunciation, and fluency of language.

Public recitation is something which needs practice.
Different skill has to be learned to be an experts. Put the entire speech in to three part or better stories, always use a three part organization structure and always make us eof the three sentences, words or phrases
