Ornaments that are made from 24-carat gold which is pure gold are very rare since pure gold is very soft and is prone to wear and tear upon usage.Due to its wonderful qualities and its luster, gold is considered the most important metal in jewellery making. As pure gold is too soft for everyday wear, it is alloyed with a mixture of metals in order to make the gold harder, so it can be used for jewellery.

Explanation:

BECAUSE PURE GOLD DON'T CONTAINS CARBON MOLECULE AND THE 24CT GOLD IS SOO SMOOTH TO MAKE ORNAMENTS

IF WE ADD CARBON MOLECULE IT BECOMES

22CT GOLD

AND ONE THING IS THAT IF WE MAKE ORNAMENTS WITH PURE GOLD IT IS BREAKABLE

SO PURE GOLD IS NOT USED FOR MAKING ORNAMENTS

I HOPE IT WILL HELPFUL TO YOU
