Put a plant in the dark for 72 hours, test it's leaf for the presence of starch with iodine and compare the results with the plant kept in sunlight and write your observation.​

Answer:

The plant which is exposed to dark for 72 hours will give negative result for starch test using iodine as the sunlight is required for photosynthesis. No sunlight means no starch synthesis so it will not become blueish black when adding iodine. The plant which is exposed to sunlight gives positive test for starch test ie the part becomes bluish black after adding iodine due to presence of starch
