I was that time study (studying) in school. Those day (days) we did not have electricity. We used to
study beneath lamps that were lighting (lit) with ration kerosene . I used to read the lessons loud (loudly). One
night, I hear (heard) a knock at the door. Those days, none in Rameswaram used to lock the door. One day
somebody opened the door, entered into and asked me where my father is. I told him that he has gone for
evening Namaj.
