Hey mate,

Answer 01.

Camphor disappears without leaving any residue or liquid behind. This happens because camphor has the property of sublimation which is process where solid substance convert into gaseous state without leaving any residue behind. It happens the same in the case of camphor.

Answer 02.

We feel cold when we touch a piece of ice . This happens because I've has a lower temperature than any person's body as heat energy which is higher than the heat energy in ice from our body through our skin moves to ice.

Hope it helps you

  1. Camphor undergoes the process called sublimation. in this process the substance undergoes a change which converts it from solid to gas directly without the interaction of liquid state. If we explain deeply , we can conclude that camphor has weak intermolecular force which are loosely bond and condenses into the atmosphere under suitable conditions. Hence camphor disappears without leaving any Residue.
  2. We all know that ice is very cold and so called that it is less than our body temperature. when we touch the ice with our fingers are body temperature being more the ice passes on through the skin by thermal conduction and with the purpose to make both the the temperatures equal.Hence, we feel cold.
