Given polynomial is x²+x+1

Sum of the roots,
α+β = -b/a = -1
Product of the roots αβ = c/a  = 1

 \frac{1}{ \alpha} +  \frac{1}{ \beta}
 \frac{\alpha + \beta}{ \alpha\beta}

= -1
