1) Indicators are the substances that are used to determine whether a solution is acid or a base. Different types of indicators are natural and synthetic indicators. Under natural indicators, turmeric solution, litmus solution or paper, red cabbage juice, china rose extract, etc. come. Under synthetic indicators Phenophthalein and methyl orange come.
2) Alkali are the bases which can dissolve in water.
3) Bromine (Br) is a non metal found in liquid state.
4) All the acids are sour in taste, dissolve in water, have hydrogen in their chemical composition and are acidic in nature.
5) Generally non metals are dull. Iodine and diamond (carbon) are the non metals which are lustrous.
