Q.1 ) Why is hydrogen peroxide is kept in colored bottles ?
Q.2) Please explain how to form ionic equations from Redox reactions using the following examples
i)H + Cuo ------> Cu + H O

1
Hydrogen peroxide is stored in coloured bottles because coloured bottles do not allow the light to enter the bottle so it prevents hydrogen peroxide from decomposing into water and oxygen.
2) ionic eq are those eq which form due to the exchange of ions in it. In redox reactions oxygen is added or removed or hydrogen is added or removed
In the above two eq we clearly see the removal of oxygen (reduction) and in 2nd eq we see removal of hydrogen (oxidation)
These two reaction only occur in ionic reaction.
