Penguins have webbed feet for powerful swimming. Their bodies are streamlined to reduce drag in water. Penguins have to keep high body temperatures to remain active. They have thick skin and lots of fat (blubber) under their skin to keep warm in cold weather.

Adaptation in penguins to the polar region:-
The climate condition of polar region is extreme cold.Almost all region are covered with snow.The winters of the poles are too much cold.The temperature falls upto -34°C .
Adoption:-
- The white colour in penguins helps them to bend with the colour of snow.
- Penguins have thick skin .
- Penguins have lot of fats in them which protects them from extreme cold.
- The move and live together ,living together in huddle makes them cool.
- There feets are webbed which makes them good swimmer.
