Plants and animals do grow by mitotic cell division, but here the difference is that the plants have never ending mitoticic division I. e, they grow throughout. The plants mainly have growing tissues on their tips, and axial buds which help them to grow everytime.

But humans have a limited amount of mitotic cell division (the usually grow up to sexual maturity) for growth that is.

Hello friend

here is the answer of ur question:-

Explanation:

plants-

- they grow throughout their lifetime

- growth is restricted to localised area i.e. meristems (cell division occurs )

- have high power of regeneration.

- Plant cells are pluripotent (can develop into all other type of plant cells)

animals-

- they grow for a certain period of time. after being sexually mature they stop growing.

- growth is diffused ( growth divisions occur ).

- animals lack high power of regeneration.

- power is limited

hope this helps :)
