This famous line is from Shakespeare’s famous play Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar speaks this line to Calpurnia, his wife when she is requesting him to stay at home because of an ominous dream.
However, Caesar’s these words fit rightly for the characters of the story, ‘We aren’t Afraid to Die…’ In this story we see the narrator Gordon Cook facing the storm courageously. If he had not acted bravely, the boat, Wavelwalker would surely have sunk in the Southern Indian Ocean.
So, Caesar’s statement is true: ‘Cowards die many times before their death, the valiant face one.’
