PA=PC+AC
PA=PC+QC [∵ from eq(2) we know that QC=AC]
Substituting the given values, we get
14=PC+3
PC= 11cm
Similarly we can find PB
PB=PD+DB
PB=PD+QD
14=PD+3
PD=11cm
So PC+PD= 11+11=22cm
So 22 cm is the our answer.
