Answer:

rs.720

Explanation:

karan

Principal=rs.6000

rate=12%

time=2years

S.I=PRT/100

=6000×12×2/100

=60×12×2

=720×2

=1440

So,karan paid rs.1440 as interest

Arjun

principal=rs.6000

rate=12%

time=3years

S.i=PRT/100

=6000×12×3/100

=60×12×3

=2160

So,arjun paid rs.2160 as interest

difference between interest paid by them

=interest paid by arjun-interest paid by karan

=rs.(2160-1440)

=rs.720

So,difference between interest paid by karan and arjun is rs.720
