As far as I am concern may be it is right to say that History and Political Science are interlinked!
I would like to explain with an example:

>Like we have read about French revolution. We say that French Revolution has the roots of rising of Democracy.
And we read about Democracy in Political Science.

>We read about other forms of government from History like socialist, communist etc.
And we read about Why democracy is superior and why others are not in Political Science.


So, basically what I am tryna saying is
Yes, They are interlinked and what we read in history we see some of it's root in Political Science too.
