A Wet Mount Slide is prepared to perform the activity of observing the onion peel under a microscope.
Explanation:
- Shyam has forgotten to stain the onion peel which helps to differentiate its cells. Due to lack of staining, he is not able to observe the onion peels.
- The function of dying/staining of cell is to make it easier to see the cell or specific components. Staining cells is sometimes done to highlight metabolic processes or to distinguish between live and dead cells.
- The moral value that we incur from the given incidence is: Following the instructions of Teachers carefully and Paying attention to them properly while working in lab.
