The amount of first prize

Now let the third place be x

So 2nd place is 4 times more than the third place. So 2nd place will be Rs 4 x

First place is 3 times more than 2 nd place. So 1 st place will be 3 x 4 (x)

Given total prize is 170000

So x + 4 x + 12 x = 1,70,000

      17 x = 170000

        X = Rs 10,000

Now 12 x = 12 x 10,000

                 = 1,20,000

So the first prize will get Rs 1,20,000

The main concept about this problem is one should plant more number of trees and preserve it.
