distance traveled by Car =

difference between distance traveled by scooter and car after 15 sec = 112.5m

total at

car catch up with scooter then 30t = 337.5+45(t-15)

or 30t = 337.5+45t-675

or 15t = 337.5

t = 22.5sec

Total diatance covered by the car is area of trapezium OABC.

AB = 30 - 10 = 20

OC = 40

height = 20

Area = 1/2 × 20 × (40 + 20) = 10 × 60 = 600

So, distance covered = 600 m.
