environmentally friendly ingredients and procedures which designed to prevent
human health and environment quality. To preserve the environment and do in
this manner, Ramesh made a slide in a park which is situated in his society. One
of its side walls has been painted in the some colour with a message 'KEEP THE
PARK GREEN AND CLEAN'(see fig) If the sides of the wall are 15m, 11m and 6m,
then give the answer the questions by looking at the figure.

To Find :-
- Find the area painted in color ?
Solution :-
we know that, area of a ∆ with sides as a, b and c is ,
- Area = √[s*(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)] where s is semi - perimeter.
- s = (a + b + c)/2 .
so,
→ s = (15 + 11 + 6)/2
→ s = 32/2 = 16 cm.
then,
→ Area of ∆ = √[16 * (16 - 15) * (16 - 11) * (16 - 6)]
→ Area = √[16 * 1 * 5 * 10]
→ Area = √(4² * 5² * 2)
→ Area = 4 * 5√2
→ Area = 20√2 m². (Ans.)
