hello dear...
the four groups of protozoa are :
1. Sporozoans - They are uninucleate and their body is covered by a pellicle. they are mostly pathogens including malaria causing parasite Plasmodium.
2. Ciliates ( Ciliated Protozoan ) - It forms large number of protozoa. They are aquatic. Their significant feature is presence of cilia. e.g; Paramoecium.
3. Zooflagellates ( Flagellated Protozoan ) - They are non photosynthetic, free living, without cell wall. they possess flagella for locomotion and capturing prey. some are parasitic e.g; Trypanosoma.
4. Sarcodins ( Amoeboid Protozoan ) - They are jelly like unicellular protozoan found in moist soil, fresh and sea water. They have pseudopodia for locomotion. e.g; - Amoeba, Entamoeba etc.
Hope it will help you...
