Let the income of manu be ₹ x
Expenditure on house = 1/5 of x
= ₹ x/5
Expenditure on transport = 2/7 of x
= ₹ 2x/7
Total Expenditure = ₹(x/5 + 2x/7)
= ₹ (7x+10x/35)
= ₹ 17x/35

Saving= ₹ (x - 17x/35)
or, 2034 = ₹ 35x-17x/35
or, 2034 = ₹ 18x/35
or, 18x = 2034 × 35
or, x = 71190/18
Therefore, x = 3955

So Manu's income is ₹3955.
